Hi: I have been doing some sprouting and cooking for coalition events and wanted to share my wonderful "garden in a bag" for fund raising. Garden in a Bag" is simply the most nutritious and wonderful way to grow a garden all year long indoors with only water, no soil or sun required and it only takes 4-6 days to harvest. Please keep it in mind for any events, nothing more local, fresher or more nutritious. For more info email me...working on a website

Adriana, this is John with Corporate Accountability International and the Value [the] Meal campaign. I got your info from Nancy Romer, who's been a member of our for years. I wanted to touch base with you about a big action we're holding in NYC on the 31st of March that we'll need to recruit volunteers for. My number is 617-695-2525. Or you can e-mail me at jstewart@stopcorporateabuse.org. Let me know if you have any ideas!

Adriana,

I e-mailed the mailing a couple of days ago, offering to table on Sunday. I also see that my friend Nicole Taylor offered. I'm new to this technology of multiple mailing lists.

Please let me know what the status is.

Thanks,

Natalie A. Soleil

As I understand (and it's been hard to follow, actually) those were the older regulations. The new regulations allow packaged snacks to be sold as part of a school fundraiser during lunchtime--directly competing with school food. I believe the Bake…

Why is there such opposition to the regulation? Yes it seems to limit non-approved items (bake sale items) until after the 6:00 pm - with the exception of PA/PTA fundraisers in which case the items can be sold after lunch and only once per month. Bu…
